Premium wax blends for a beautiful burn
We use two carefully selected wax formulations depending on the candle: our original in-house soy and beeswax blend and a luxurious coconut apricot soy wax blend.
Our original wax is custom blended in-house using soy wax and beeswax only, (paraffin-free.) For select candles, we use a coconut apricot soy wax blend chosen for its smooth finish, reliable burn performance and excellent scent release.
Please refer to each individual product page for the specific wax blend used in that candle.

Most of our fragrances are thoughtfully custom blended to create scents that feel distinctive to LitBrit. Each candle is designed to capture a specific memory, place, or feeling - from rugged English coastlines to windswept Scottish moors and quiet moments at home.
Rather than relying only on off-the-shelf fragrance oils as-is, we often layer complementary notes to create more nuanced, atmospheric scents with depth, character and a distinctly LitBrit point of view.

I'm not a candle person. Purchased my first candle on a recommendation from a podcaster because the scents sounded unique and the candlemaker was somewhat local to me. I have not been disappointed! The candles are of high quality, their scents are subtlety devine, and their glass containers are classy, blending well with my decor. My favorite to date is the limited edition rose scented candle in a beautiful cranberry-colored lidded faceted glass container. Gorgeous! And the Blushwood candle is wonderful, too. Then there is the customer service. Absolutely top tier!

The Longboat candle is a reminder of all my visits to the Delaware and North Carolina shores as a child and adult. The scent reminds me of the crashing waves or the soft gentle roll out at low tide. LitBrit is my only vendor for candles. I love the smell while cross stitching and quilting. They are very much a worthwhile purchase.🏖️🏖️
Calligraphy is my favorite scent. It’s a little bit spicy, a little bit woody, a little bit dusty (in a good way). It reminds me of a place I’ve been before but can’t quite remember. I love it!
Such a great holiday candle! The mint is creamy and not so in your face and it’s works so well with the evergreen and earthy sweet carrot notes. I’ve bought this one for the last three years!
