Candle Care

Keep candle away from flammable items.
Always place your candle far from curtains, paper, fabric, or anything that could catch fire. Even a small flame can be dangerous if it’s too close to combustible materials.

Keep candle out of reach of children and animals.
Candles can look and smell inviting, but they pose a real hazard if knocked over or touched. Place your candle somewhere safe where curious hands or paws can’t reach.

Trim wick(s) to 1/4 inch each time before burning.
Keeping the wick short helps your candle burn evenly and prevents soot buildup or smoking. Use a wick trimmer or scissors to cut before each use.

Keep wax pool free of debris, such as wick trimmings.
Small pieces in the melted wax can catch fire or disrupt the way your candle burns. After trimming the wick, make sure nothing falls into the wax.

Burn candle on a level and fire-resistant surface.
A stable, heat-safe base keeps your candle from tipping over or damaging furniture. Protect your surfaces by using a coaster, tray, or dedicated candle plate.

Burn candle within sight and away from drafts.
Never leave a burning candle unattended, even for a few minutes. Keep it away from vents, fans, or open windows, since drafts can cause uneven burning or flare-ups.

Stop burning candle once 1/4 inch of unmelted wax remains.
Burning too low can overheat the container and increase the risk of it cracking. Extinguish your candle safely and enjoy the remaining scent without relighting.

Allow melted wax to reach the edge before extinguishing, but do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Letting the wax pool spread to the edges prevents tunneling and ensures the best fragrance throw. However, burning too long can overheat the candle, so extinguish it after four hours and let it cool before relighting.
